2. Service Provision
Skip Hire Waterloo offers a range of skip sizes to accommodate various waste disposal needs. Our services include the delivery, collection, and removal of skips as per the client's requirements.
2.1. Delivery and Collection
We ensure timely delivery and collection of skips. Clients must provide a suitable location for the placement of the skip, ensuring it does not obstruct public pathways or private properties without permission.
3. Client Obligations
- Waste Types: Clients must only dispose of permitted waste. Hazardous materials, including asbestos, chemicals, and electronic waste, are strictly prohibited.
- Weight Limit: Clients must adhere to the weight limit specified for their chosen skip size. Exceeding this limit may result in additional charges.
- Permit Requirements: For skips placed on public land or highways, clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permits.
3.1. Prohibited Items
- Chemicals and flammable substances
- Live plants and animals
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Electrical appliances containing refrigerants
4. Payment Terms
All services must be paid for in full upon delivery of the skip, unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
4.1. Pricing
Pricing is based on skip size, rental duration, and additional services requested. Any changes to the order after placement may incur additional costs.
5. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring penalties. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5.1. Refunds
Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request, excluding any non-refundable fees.
6. Liability
While we strive to provide excellent service, Skip Hire Waterloo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the skip hire service.
6.1. Damage to Property
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the placement of the skip does not cause damage to property. Any damages incurred due to improper placement or misuse of the skip will be the client's responsibility.
7. Insurance
Clients are advised to have appropriate insurance coverage for the waste being disposed of. Skip Hire Waterloo does not provide insurance for the contents of the skip.
7.1. Indemnity
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skip Hire Waterloo from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from the disposal of waste that violates applicable laws or regulations.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Skip Hire Waterloo operates.
8.1. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Waterloo.
